No Bluescreens

Hi,
when i go to event viewer and select 'system' vista crashes with a
bluescreen or to be more precise a wanna-be bluescreen. The blue screen
appears but no text shows up. That's even worse than a normal bluescreen.
:-(
Once in a while i got other bluescreens (ati confirmed bluescreen in 7.3 or
jetico confirmed driver crashes) that also are without text. Now that i can
provoke a bluescreen i'm trying to analyse why i get no text at bluescreens.
Could it be possible that a disabled service is responsible for that? Or gfx
card driver crashes before bluescreen shows up?

Any ideas?

Vista32 ultimate
Ati Catalyst 7.3

Under System, advance settings, Start-up and recovery, do you have it set to
Auto reboot ? if so, you could try turning that off and see if it makes a
difference. Which one of the Kernel dump errors do you have set. I wonder if
it's wanting to give you data, but some thing on par with the hard drive
dropping out keeps it from giving more data.

You could try setting full memory dump, which might cause it to take long
enough to show the text on the screen.

I think i got it. Responsible for bluescreens was once again Jetico v2 beta
(confirmed) caused by buggy dll injection. No more bluescreens now.

But before i fixed that i de-installed the gfx driver and bluescreens showed
up again so it is the gfx driver that crashes and freezes the complete
system (no crash dump, no reset, complete system halt). I have some
softmodded (swapped IDs) R300 drivers. Seems it has some sideeffects.

Thanks anyway. :-)
