NO CD KEY!!!

Please help someone... My boss shot me a link to DL vista, I did and burnt it
and it asked for a key. I cant find it anywhere. So I registered for the
whatever and got a new acount and everything and still no key, not even in
any emails or in any docs in the cd and the cracker jack microsoft staff cant
help any. Does anyone know what to do???? and YES I read all pages and emails
and NO KEY...

If you signed up for the Beta in the normal way, Microsoft would have taken
you to a screen with download instruction that would have also included your
key. It would have also triggered Microsoft to send the E-Mail that also
contained the key.

However...

If someone gave you a direct link to the download, then you bypassed all the
screens that would have issued you a key.

Since the Beta is now closed, Microsoft is no longer issuing anybody keys.
The download portion will remain till July 14 for those people who already
have a key but haven't managed to get the download yet due to the high
traffic.

same here i think we missed the oportunity to get the serial. i called and
got the run around. if anyone would like to donate thiers i would appreciate
it. I have a 3 gig download and no way to use it. sorry i couldnt help but im
in the same boat with you. anybody feel free to email me their serial to

Same here. I download the image on the first day but just got around to
installing it today. My computer is cleared off and sitting at the install
screen :-( Any one else have a key I could use. MS doesn't seem to be much
help. I looked through my old email for the key but can't find it anywhere.

Same here. downloaded and burned the dvd on the first day. Now I am sitting
at the install screen and can't find my key :-( anyone have an extra key they
are not using? MS doesn't seem interested. Please send a key to

I downloaded vista the other week to install on my laptop for when i finished
work for the summer, problem is like a fool i must have deleted the 2 emailed
keys and am currently looking at how to re-request them and looking at these
posting i am not holding out to much hope or can i re-request them to be sent

I did download from direct link too but i did go back up to the main page and
back down to the download no message get the key. I looked all over as I also
printed page info that i looked over again and the beta was still open at
that time with no info posted or poping up to asking me to sign in to getthe
key.

I called today and they will sell me the $10 CD with a key.. heck just give
me the key of the CD there and keep the Cd and all will be well and we save
me the time and postage and we save some gas running around doing the mail
thing.

guess we wait till the Beta3 now.
