I updated 2 hardware updates thru windows update and since trying to reboot
i have no display!!!!!!!!!
What gives????
The updates were for the drivers for network card and the Silicon image

I now have no display whatsoever and cant even get the POST to show. Ive

Hi:

Looks like more a problem with the video card or motherboard. First try to
boot with you windows xp pro CD, and see if you have video. It load a
generic video drivers and you should be able to see. If you do not have
video signal, check, cables, connector and your monitor.

If you have video signal, see if you have any POST message and go into the
video, select a default configuration, and reboot your PC.

Let us now how it goes.

Hi there,

Boot last known good configuration or Use system restore.

Taking driver update from windows update is really not a good idea unless
you like having problems. An excpetion is there for MS hardware.

If your hardware works fine leave it be working fine!
If a driver update is needed because the hardware does not funtion well you
should download an appropiate driver at the manufacturers website in this
silicone image and vvidia Network card driver

Best regards,
Michel Denie
