It re-associates the .xml file type to its default settings. A recent
installation of a program may have "stolen" the .xml association.
Under Options > Settings... for Help and Support (on the upper right side
of the H & S window), you can choose not to get content from the internet,
but the .xml association would still need to be repaired.
