No hotfixes in Add/Remove since SP2

Prior to SP2, I used to get an entry in Add/Remove Programs for each hotfix
installed from Windows Update, as well as the $NtUninstallKBxxxxx$ file in
C:\WINDOWS.

Note: SP2 was installed via download from Windows Update site nearly a year
ago.

For each hotfix installed since SP2, there's no entry in Add/Remove
Programs, just the $NtUninstallKBxxxxx$ files in C:\WINDOWS.

Question 1: Is this normal?

Question 2: If so, how would one uninstall a hotfix if necessary?

Question 3: If not normal, what could be wrong?

Also, the SP2 install did not delete the pre-SP2 $NtUninstallKBxxxxx$ files
from C:\WINDOWS, which I understood it would do. Was this normal? Is it safe
now to delete them? Everest Home Edition no longer detects those hotfixes as
installed.

Thanks in advance.

There's now a "Show updates" box you can check at the top of Add/Remove.

Yes, as long as you're sure of what you're deleting -- hotfixes that are now
superseded by SP2.
