That, my friend is quite alarming. Do you connect directly to your DSL
modem with a cable (Cat 5), or do you use a router?
If you use a router, is it wireless or do you use a Cat 5 to connect
to your router? What brand is your router and how old is it? Have you
ever done a firmware upgrade on your router?
What happens if you reset your DSL modem?
Do you have any other computers that are maintaining a persistent
connection?
