When I open Control Panel and go to Network and Sharing, the page is blank
and all connections are missing. If I open Network icon the page is blank
1) 'I opened Services.msc. '
2) 'Selected Network List service and under heading STATUS it was blank.'
3) 'I right clicked the line and selected START and received the following
error message:'

The Network List Service on Local Computer started and then stopped. Some
services stop automatically if they are not in use by other services or
programs.

This occurred after Microsoft technical support took control of my computer
and downloaded a .bat file of .dll's to repair I.E. v8 problems. I do not
know if this had anything to do with it.

Thank you in advance for your support and suggestions,

HankL

Alex,

I did use CMD and the command you suggested. It did not change anything in
Network List in 'Services'. It still will not START

Any other suggestion if you would.
