No liveupdate

yesterday i downloaded a file witch was infected was with a virus an exe
file, i saw it dissapear en then starts de mess.
ik find out that the pad "C:\WINDOWS\system32\svchost.exe -k netsvcs" the
file who starts windows update, dissapeard
so who the same problem en has an solution?
