No MHT thumbnails or even ICONs?

I noticed that my MHT files have the default windows (unknown file) icon..

in XP you used to have thumbnails..

how can I fix this?

Here the solution (for having a fileicon no a thumbnail)

Go in the regedit into HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT

and search for the extetion here (.mht) then you will find in the
Default key a name (here normally: mhtmlfile)

then search for mhtmlfile structure

normally: Hkey_classes_root\mhtmlfile\

inside you will find \Defaulticon

change the value of (default) key with your icon. restart and bingo

btw in XP it was really more easier (so Vista SUCKS !!)
