no movement on web pages

I cannot get any movement on the web pages I go to. For example, when I go to
the weather radar, It usually moves showing the direction of storms & such.
But not it doesn't move at all. It moves at friends house & work, so I know
it still does. Am I missing a download? I just had my computer GONE OVER & I
THINK IM MISSING A DOWN.
