I've tried beta, and the latest msn... vista hates working. I guess it's
trying to be me in highschool.

But I need msn, so if there's any other sudgestions available, please help
me. Thanks for your time anyone.

What error are you getting when you try to install/login?

Which edition of Windows Vista are you running? 32-bit or 64-bit?

Click on Start and in the Start Search field type "cmd" and then hold CTRL +
SHIFT - Enter on your keyboard, which will run an elevated command prompt. In
the command prompt window, type SFC.EXE /SCANNOW and post the results here
please.

there is another newgroup called

microsoft.public.windows.live.messenger

Post your problem there, and PLEASE tell them what you mean by MSN.

You dont really want MSN but the latest Live messenger
with version number 2008 (build 8.5.1288.816)

this is the latest one that runs with vista better..

also tell them if you have 32 bit vista or 64 bit.
