No Outlook Express Email After Update

      02-17-2006
Six updates were automatically installed before the computer shut down last
night.
KB911927
KB911961
KB911564
KB911565
KB913446
KB890830
When I logged on today and went to Outlook Express to check my email, there
is absolutely nothing there. Nothing in inbox or any other box, no contacts,
no nothing! Everything is wiped out.

Could the updates have done this? If so, how can I get my email back?

Doubtful. Was OE running when you installed the updates? Was you
anti-virus application?

No Outlook Express was not running. Antivirus was not running. The computer
was installing updates before it shut down.

I had the same problem.
The OE problem seems to linked to one of the updates.
Try to remove those updates through the Configuration screen / Software
route, or use system restore to go back to an earlier controlpoint.
This worked for me anyway.
