Hi,
Uninstall the Norton Firewall (don't worry, you can reinstall it afterwards) to verify that
is or isn't the problem -- and no, just disabling it isn't good enough. It's a problem that
people have encountered before. If it works after that, you can go ahead and reinstall the
firewall, I think you'll find that most likely it'll continue working.
You can go ahead and attempt a repair if you like, but I doubt it will change anything.
