Wow - with all that information you gave, you should have a complete and
correct answer within minutes!

You may have burned it in a format that your DVD player can't handle
or your DVD player may not be able to handle the type of disk you
used (DVD+R, DVD-R, etc.)

We need more specific information in order to help you with this.
Let us know what type/model DVD player you are using,
what type of disk you are burning, whether you "finalized" the disk,
or not and any other pertinent information.

this could be any number of things
disk licences
does the tv play cd-r, dvd-r, dvd+r etc etc etc

whats software did you use? and did the software finalise the disk when it
ejected?
does the photos play from the disk in a computer or the very least the
computer you burnt it with?

I just put a disc,dvd,in my pc,selected my photos and burned them to the
disc.
My tv plays all types of discs.
My pc is standard as when I bought it,Vista home basic,I used the
inbuilt vista burning program.
The disc will play in my pc and in my laptop.

My DVD player model is LG RH397D/RH399D
I tried DVD+R and CD-RW
