No PICTURES in Vista Help - MVPs?

Sorry - first post subject said "pictured" instead of "pictures" - my great
typing.

Home Premium, brand new Dell XPS desktop. Does anyone here have a clue why
the all the graphics are broken (don't display, red Xes) in all Vista online
help screens? It's been like that since I first booted it up. Everything
else in Help works fine. It's as if the URL mshelp schema in the XML is
wrong and the graphic URLs are wrong. Dell tech support didn't have a clue
about this. Looks like a MS source code problem, or is there a locally held
DB on my box that's corrupt . . .?

You could try this registry fix:

Pages in Windows Vista Help and Support are not displayed correctly, by
Ramesh Srinivasan:

Brilliant! Worked like a charm. Thanks so much!

So surprised to see that most of the missing graphics are simply graphical
triangle-shaped "bullets"!!! But lots of others too. I'll remember the
winhelponline site too!

See my reply to your previous post. Please do not make a new post about
the same subject only a little while apart. People who help out in these

Hi Malke - I reposted because of a spelling mistake in the subject, not
because I was impatient. Saw your other post. Thanks.
