No proxy support in Windows Calendar?

I cannot figure out a way to make Windows Calendar use a proxy for
iCal sync. It doesn't seem to have it's own settings, and it doesn't
seem to honor the system-wide internet settings. This seems like an
incredible oversight. It makes what could be a great feature useless
to me most of the time.
