Your User's files folder shortcut in the Start Menu has the command "Show
on Desktop", when you right-click it. In the Start Menu, look for your user
name at the top of the list on the right-hand side. Just as XP's My
Documents was the Main container for My Music, My Pictures, etc., in Vista
the (Your Name) folder is the Main container for Music, Pictures, etc.
Since Documents is a shell subfolder of the (Your Name) folder, a shortcut
to it can't be created without an arrow overlay. The (Your Name) folder
won't have this overlay, and is a "special icon" like Computer, Recycle Bin,
Control Panel, etc. Short of some sort of registry manipulation, I suppose,
there's no way to change this.
