I got from help the following path for the uninstall-shield:

C:\windows\$NTServicePackUninstall$\spuninst\spuni nst.exe
the path exists but there is no such exe-file, there ist only a txt and an
asp file.
The file does not seem to be hidden or system, as it does not start when
tiped in. Message file not found.

Instead there are 12 files named: XP-Hofix(SP2)Qxxxxxxx
Do I have to uninstall all these files.

The bad handling ist also unusual for microsoft products.

When I had installed SP2 my Internetconection via LAN was blocked,
the message said, IP-Adresse was lost. I was unable to get the
connection (LAN) runing again, so I used the systemrecovery as I could
not uninstall. Now I want te clear all the spoiled Harddisk memory.
