Got a Toshiba x205 SLI3 running Vista Ultimate. It is connected trough HDMI
to a PHILIPS lcd.
Everithing is working just fine besides the sound from Life Tv an Recorded
Tv in Media Center.
To the best of my knowledge i have the latest drivers in place and i've
checked every setting that i could imagine.
Zeroing down seems to be an issue with the MCE and the tv tuner (that came
with the laptop). The samples of Recorded Tv that came with the MCE are
audible but when i have recorded from Live Tv and try to play it there was no
sound. That makes me think that MCE and the tuner are not "talking" to
eachother.
The last remark is that the issue arrised while mooving the system in a PAL
teritory;on NTSC it was all good.(don't tell me that the tuner is NTSC... the
picture is there)

Regards,
Lorin

Windows Media Center does not correctly configure a combo TV tuner that
supports both ATSC and NTSC signals: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929011
Can't tell if this applies or not, maybe worth a look.

into the tv tuner.
