No sounds in WLM 8.1?

Hey, since I installed 8.1, all my sounds in WLM stopped working. When I got
to the sound settings and click the play button, WLM gives me an error that
it can't play the sound file. It worked with the exact same files before.
(*.wma, *.mp3)

Any ideas or suggestions what I could do to get my sounds back?
