No sounds in WLM

I don't get any sound in Windows Live Mail such as when mail arrives it's supposed to make the New Mail Notification Sound. If I use Windows Mail, it still makes a sound and I did check the options to make sure it is turned on. Any clues?

Yeah, that's a known WLM bug, which I'm sure will be
fixed in the next release.

Strangely enough I don't mind KNOWN bugs (they get fixed eventually) it's
those ones that the software developer will tell you is not a bug but a
FEATURE! <grin>. At least they are aware of the problem and after all this
*IS* a beta version so they are entitled
