I right-click on an item in the list for Programs & Features in Control
Panel but no context menu is displayed so that I can not uninstall the
item(an application program). A context menu for Uninstall, Change and
Repair is supposed to be displayed. Could anyone help?

Uninstall is located above the program list.

There are programs for which Uninstall show up when the progrma items
are high-lighted but there are many which do not. For example, MS Office
2007 , Roxio EMC 9, Norton Anivirus 2007, etc. What could be wrong about
these? They are working fine(Reason I want to uninstall is not because
they are not working).
Further suggestion is appreciated.

I had this same problem with the uninstall button not showing up after a
microsoft update. Its a bug and im not sure there fixing it. Basically to
get ur uninstall button back you have to reinstall the application then it
returns. Sense I have reinstalled all the applications all the uninstall
buttons are there now.

This is by far the dumbest bug I ever saw

It is not a bug, it just did not load properly in the first place to put an
un-install file that the system could link to.

Thanks for your response. So when I need to uninstall a program I just
have to reinstall first. It is realy dumb bug.

It appears bug though another poster indicates otherwise, because there
are too many programs showing the symptoms: Exameples include MS Office
2007, Norton Antivirus 2007, Roxio EMC 9, etc.
