No updates available.

I'm running Windows XP service pack 3 and I.E 8 (beta).
Why are there no updates available on the update website?
No security or high priority ones either.
No error msg just none there.
Heve auto update switched on but none downloaded and installed from there
either.

Switch back to IE7 or IE6 to see your Updates. IE8 Beta is a Beta. This has happened to numerous people on different news servers when trying to get to Windows Update with IE8

Hi Vivvie,

Check the Services' Startup Type for Automatic Updates - Set for
Automatic. BITS or Background Intelligent Transfer Service can be Automatic
or Manual. Event Log must be Automatic.

I have Internet Explorer 8 Beta 2 installed and they downloaded just
fine.
