Dear all
Thank you in advance I have a strange fault , i installed a n windows 2003 standrad in a new dell server. installation went perfect, but the problem is when ever i do windows update the system will download all the patches and also run through the installation and then will prompt:- NO UPDATES WERE INSTALLED!!!!!! PLEASE HELP aj |

Hello, the error code 0x80072ee7 translates to: ERROR_INTERNET_NAME_NOT_RESOLVED this appears to be a problem during the download phase from the update site. Are you running any proxies, like ISA for example? Thank you for your reply. If we are getting errors resolving names you should try to configure the DNS to actually point to the DNS server provided by the ISP. If the server is a domain controller running DNS try configuring the server to point to itself for dns and use the forwarders settings in DNS to point to the ISP DNS servers .
