All of the USB ports (5 on motherboard, 2 on the front and 2 on the back)
have stopped working on my pc. They are still showing as working on my
hardward manager and I have installed every USB update I can find on this
forum and after searching the net. Has anyone got any ideas or suggestions as
to what I can try next? I have an ASUS P5B board, and intel core2 duo E6600
running Vista Home Premium.

Thanks in advance all,

Regards, Keith

Two of the ports on the back are already on a PCI card and these arent
working either.

Did you physically remove the USB PCI card and restart the PC without
it..... then turn off the PC and reinsall the card?

Yep!!! I took both the rear card and the front extra ports off to see it it
was over loaded etc and that made no difference either!
