No video since security update

Ever since vista did an security update on 7/11 alot of streaming video will
not play. One site in general tells me to update my media . well upon trying
to upgrade it tells me have a newer version than what the update offers. not
sure if its ok to list sites that i can give that I know will not play. Wild
america is the one that told me to update. but other sites such as music
jesus will not play (red X is all i get). I have went through security
settings and have enabled some of the stuff that pertained to media player
but still no luck. So if anyone has had this problem let me know.
