I have a full RTM DVD version of Ultimate. It is activated and has passed WGA.

I have no Vista extra's bar the useless BitLocker. No Hold 'Em and no
DreamScene demo.

It is not listed in updates, nor extras in Control Panel

Someone said I needed an English Language Pack for it, but I am already
using English (United Kingdom) settings so no English Language Pack is
listed.

How do I get Hold 'Em?

Please help!

Thanks

Hi,
Please see if there are any errors in C:\Windows\Windowsupdate.log
during the time you attempted to scan for updates.

Please post the contents of the log file and I can check if there are
errors.

Thanks for the reply Sudheer,

Having reviewed the log, it seems as if my Vista machine is trying to use my
SBS 2003 R2 WSUS server as a proxy for updates (I am running a domain here).
The server is displaying an error, telling me that WSUS management services
cannot start because I have customised it, so I am in the process of
reinstalling the R2 Technologies CD to reset the WSUS status.

Is there any way of telling Vista to use Windows Update instead of the local
WSUS server?

Thanks

Look for a blog post there where i will detail the workaround.

WSUS v2 won't let you get to ultimate extras.

Thanks, all sorted now, kind of...I saw them selected them, now I can't
actually find DreamScene in the screen savers list. Is that where it should
be?

Thanks
