On 14.12. I opened my laptop and had lost wireless connection option. Instead
there is Bluetooth. Wired connection works. When I try to fix/add back the
wireless connection only bluetooth and wired connection are offered. What to
do? I do not get to internet, as my only way to connect there is wireless.
This has never done this before. Wireless has been working perfectly. How to
get wireless back?

I am not sure what you mean by wireless connection option. I have a Vaio
laptop and on occasion have lost the wireless function. Message was no
wireless networks available. I had to go to my Wireless Switch Settings and
recheck the 2.4GHZ option. Somehow it became unselected. Don't know if this
helps, there may be many reasons and solutions as simple as rebooting your
router.

many times going to device manager and removing the wireless adapter, then
rebooting and allowing it to reinstall and redetect the network fixes that.
that way the driver is rel;oaded and the network connection recreated.
anything corrupted or changed settings disappear.
