After applying latest round of critical security updates from MS for Win XP
Home SP2 on Feb 13, Windows will no longer start normally. I get BSOD and
the message above.
I have been to knowledgebase and have tried increasing DrfIrpStackSize to
10 (and 20) in registry and it does not fix problem.
No new hardware was installed and I have removed all USB and periphals
possible with no effect.
About every fourth or fifth attempt I get message
PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA.
Have rolled back with System Restore to well before updates were applied,
with no affect.
Have also disabled all startup software again with no effect.
