Can you boot into Safe Mode? Tap the F8 key during the black screen
portion of the boot sequence.
Choose Safe Mode. You will get a screen full of text, That is normal,
just wait. It is a list of drivers that are being turned off.
After you are in Safe mode go to Add/Remove Programs in the control
panel and see if you can remove Norton.
If the above does not work you need the Norton Removal tool.
Download and run the Norton Removal Tool
