Norton 360 Crash in Windows Vista

When I try and run a Virus scan, I get "Symantec Service Framework stopped
working and was closed" next, I get a message telling me I'm at risk and
need to restart my computer because Norton 360 isn't working.

As long as I don't run the virus scan or the virus update, norton works
fine, I think?

Any suggestions?

Do a complete removal or Norton 360 by downloading the norton removal tool
from www.symantec.com/symnrt.

Then you can either reinstall it or get a better, free antivirus application
and firewall like Avast antivirus and zonealarm or comodo firewall.

I got sick of Norton 360 a while ago and replaced it with these programs.
Now I can actually scan individual files which N360 won't let you do, and
have better firewall control. Avast also detected trojans that an up-to-date
N360 didn't detect. The only problem is that all the ads that were blocked
by the Norton add-on pack will be on show.

You won't like my reply . Remove Norton and get a better program to protect
you. Said you might not like it but so many people cannot stand Norton
nowadays.
