Yep, Symantec apparently considers versions 2003 and older
obsolete. It appears they will not be offering an update so
that it is properly monitored by the Windows Security Center.

| Norton mentions the issue in their knowledgebase, however, they seem to be
| vague and general rather that addressing the specific issues associated with
| 2003/2004 antivirus. So it makes me think they repaired 2004 and you need to
| buy a new version to get the Security Center to recognize the status if you
| have version 2003.
