Not able to change channels using MEDIA CENTER remote

Hi,
I have a media center 2005 edtion. Using a Set top box too. I have
configured the media center remote to change channels on the set top box too.
I am able to watch LIVE TV on the monitor. But when, I try to change the
channel, the Channel display chages but display does not change. That is the
changed channel number is being displayed, but the channel does not change. I
have checked all settings as well as the IR blaster cable position on the SET
TOP BOX..Any suggestions regarding this issue?

Was the channel change successful during the setup phase?
