Since Friday Oct 20, we have not been able to log into MSN Live Messenger.
We receive no error statements. It just hangs. I hve taken the following
actions:
1. uninstalled and reinstalled Live Messenger.
2. Turnoff all firewalls, Popup blockers, and AntiVirsus software
3. Verified that webmessenger is working correctly.
4. verified the accounts are still active on other computers.
5. completed all the steps in the live connectivity Help menu in Live
Messenger.
6. rebooted five times.
7. Ran a complete virsus scan on the computer, No virsuses where found.

Okay, I am out of ideas. Everything else on the computer is working very
well.
Mart

Greetings,

By hangs do you mean the Messenger guys just keep spinning?

If so (actually you can try it regardless, it won't break anything), shut down Messenger
entirely by right-clicking on its icon in the notification area and choosing Exit, then
download and run this .reg file:
http://messenger.jonathankay.com/dow...lmpolicies.reg

Then try signing in again.
