will not boot, Ntfs.sys missing or corrupt, what to do????

anyone had this yet, and is there a cure without having to completely start
over?

running windows home s/p 2 have not been able to boot since install and
restart

Same here! Have tried installing twice (supposedly successfully) - each time
upon restart windows won't boot up. Have had to work in safe mode each time
and do system restore to get rid of it!

Don't get to these boards very often - any advice would be gratefully
received by this novice at ----- .
