Hi all,
I have win xp sp 3 as host and win xp sp3 in virtual pc 2007.
My host had 2 gig physical ram recently and I allocated 1.5 gig to virtual
OS. I was closing virtual OS in SAVE STATE mode.

U know when we close virtual OS in that mode, it is not possible to make
changes to some properties like allocated memory etc.

Now my host has 1 gig of physical memory, but virtual OS was closed with 1.5
gigs. I cannot open this virtual OS and cannot change settings for allocated
memory as well.

What can I do to open this virtual OS, or at least change its allocated
memory in that context ?

Thanks for any help !

The only thing you can do is delete the saved state -- there's a file
with a .vsv extension in the same directory that the .vmc file is,
delete the .vsv file and then you should be able to change the RAM
settings and boot the VM.
