Not a gloat.. but a ray of hope for those having a problem with SP

I had all the problems.. Dissappearing Download Icons... 34 megs dowloaded
then, all of a sudden dissappeared... In Control panel a couple SP2 patch
downloads appeared..... Warnings and Long Code numbers showing up as errors...

But somehow this evening the Icon re-appeared and downloaded the entire SP2
patch.. installed itself and rebooted... aside from allowing a few programs
to access the net in the XP Firewall .... everything is working perfectley...

I had my doubts.. but maybe a bit of patients is in store...


Hope the rest having problems continues to be persisitant and vigilant... I
think with the SP2 patch will work....
