Thanks Patrick.
I think I got it. I was looking under properties for my Nforce networking
controller, and that was not checked, and remembered I had recently gone
through there and unchecked it.
I checked it again, and slept the system, this morning upon waking it had
the internet connection Hopefully that was it.
