Will not install K896688 update??

I have my computer set to download automatically, but install manually.
I have not been able to successfully install KB896688, although it has been
downloaded twice. What could be causing this and how do i get it to install?

Are there any clues in the log?

Click Start, and then click Run.
In the Open box, type %windir%\windowsupdate.log
and then click OK.

Scroll down towards the bottom for the latest entries to locate the error code(s)
associated with the latest failed attempt to download/install.

If necessary paste the error part of the log relating to the failed update into this
thread to assist those trying to help.

Have a look into the KB896688.log file to be found in the Windows folder.
Do you have by any chance "moved" the Program Files folder onto another
partition?
