will not let me log on

i reinstalled my microsoft xp and when it came to the log on it will not
accept my password

try just leaving your username and password blank and then hit ok youcan set
up your password after that. I think that will work. Because you
reinstalled xp you old password is no longer in there.

If a blank password doesn't work:

You could try to log on with the original Administrator user
if you haven't tried that already:

If that doesn't work out, you might try to reset the local
Administrator password with one of the methods mentioned here:
