My employees are not given local admin rights on their
computers. We have had troubles with them installing
critical updates because they have insufficient rights.
If I set up Automatic Updates to download and install
critical updates on a schedule, will this trouble be
fixed?

Hi

Yes, as long as you set AUOptions to 4 ("Automatically download
and scheduled installation"), Automatic Updates will install
updates even if the users are not local admins.

I have the same trouble.

With this option(4), the trouble is fixed?
