When I save a message in Outlook Express 6, it is an .eml or .nws message.

Then when I try to OPEN that same message it opens in WLM, even though I
have it set to open in OE.

How do I get these messages to open cleanly in OE?

Thanks.

Did you try "Set Windows XP Program Access and Defaults"?

OLEXP: Unable to Open EML File Attachments in Outlook Express
(Fixing the EML File Association)
http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=312355
If the abbreviated command in the above article doesn't work,
then try: Start, Run and enter the following (with the quotation marks):
"C:\Program Files\Outlook Express\msimn.exe" /reg

That should also fix NWS files.
