(Not Responding) When Trying To Sync With My SanDisk Sansa MP3 Pla

When I either try to sync one or all of my almost 500 songs onto my mp3
player, the program does not do anything and goes into (Not Responding) mode,
and never does anything.

I drag either one song, or a whole bunch of songs into the Sync List box,
and then after i let it calculate how much room will be left on the device i
push START SYNC and nothing happens, i am not sure what to do i keep, sending
reports, and trying to refresh and restart the program but each time it's the
same.

Does that device work on a second PC? Does any other MP3 player work on
that PC?

I'd think it would be a problem with the player and/or player driver... ?
