I have a rather frustrating bug, I set Vista to hide my Spysweeper Icon but
on restart it keeps reappearing. Is there anyway to stop this, all the
other icons remain hidden except this one.

Thanks in advance, Andrew.

PS. Using Windows Vista Ultimate with all the latest patches.

Right-click on the Icon, delete it.

That's a weak response Mick Murphy. Obviously he wants the icon to remain in
the system tray, he simply wants it to remain hidden while it is there.

Indeed I want the icon to remain hidden. And due to it being the
Notification Area I have no option to delete the icon, wish it was that
easy.

The Notification Area are your system files. If you don't want an icon there
open the respective program and tell it not to load at start up, normally
found in Options. If it is one of the Vista system like the Sound or Clock
these are found in the Control Panel.
