Not sure if this goes here, but help!

Ive been having problems with my laptop just recently, it was sudden!
had no problem whatsoever with it before, its an acer aspire 5630, iv
never had major problems with it and its almost two years old! This i
my first major problem,

When i try to logon it says 'Profile cannot be loaded' Ive rea
everything possible on the internet from my desktop to try and find ou
what to do, most mentioned safe mode, this is another problem, my saf
mode Does not work! I can get into safe mode but as soon as i do i
comes up with a black screen that says safe mode in every corner! Iv
tried repairing my computer from one of the options listed with saf
mode and it tells me it cant repair itself! this happened two days ag
and i still have no idea on what to do, i use my laptop for school, i
is very important that i get it fixed, im not sure if its somethin
wrong with my laptop or windows, I have windows vista home premium

Safe Mode always comes up with Safe Mode printed in every corner. That's
expected behavior.

can you get into your pc at all ? safe mode or normal mode? your user
profile is damaged. if you can log in, go into control panel, users and
create a new user on your PC,, then restart and log in as the new user. see
if you get the error message again. if not, you will need to make sure you
transfer all your documents, music, pictures etc... from the old user
profile and delete your original user profile.

if you can't log in at all, then you will need to boot from your vista disk
and try repair or reinstall.

My vista disk will not load, it seems like it will then it doesnt load
at all, this is really frustrading me ive tried everything and i just
have no idea what to do anymore, anyone else have advice on what i could
try?

user profile?

Matheo2008,

I just solved the very same problem for a friend and posted my success msg
here yesterday (see below for the thread) not to boast but hopefully to help
others.

I hope this info helps you - I am not expert, don't even have Vista myself,
but found the "Safe Mode - System Restore to a date prior to the problem
arising" method solved the problem and allowed us to login to Vista as
normal.

Colin's explanation of what you saw in Safe Mode was good - when I got to
that stage and just saw Safe Mode in all 4 corners and nothing else, I felt
dismay, BUT, after some short time the "larger than usual" desktop did
appear and I was able to manoeuvre to System Restore and choose an earlier
date to restore to (successfully)

Try it again and see if it will work for you also, it is the most painless
way to do it, if it will work for you.
