I just received an update from the product group that a fix has been rolled
out for this specific issue and will be included in the next version of
Windows Live Mail. I cannot provide you a specific date of the release but I
was assured that it will be released in the next few months.

How many different ways can you sort by date? I can only think of
ascending/descending. What needs fixed?

Alphabetize apparently but somewhat confusing since the sent column is a
date field (numerical not alpha) thus the veracity of 'fix has been rolled
out, next version, few months etc' may be just a poster's pipe dream.

Lol...the 'number' 4 does come before 8. And good that it does otherwise
Christmas would be in the 3rd month (alpha sort) instead of the 12th. As
noted, a pipe dream.
