Not valid certification Information on windowsupdate start page?

I have checked once the Certification Information on
microsofts windows update page. The Valid data range is
from 25.5.2002 to 25.11.2003 (near a year not valid)!

Is the statement correct, that there is an old certificate
on windows update page or was it a faked page?
