not waking up

with modem. wakes fine every time with mouse or kb.

but SW modem will not wake it. modem/advanced/Allow to wake is checked.

any fix, or where else to look?

Hi txgeek,

You need to check the settings in your BIOS for the 'Wake on Lan' (WOL)
function. In some cases, you may need to configure a jumper on your
motherboard. Refer to your motherboard manual for details.

why would 'Wake on LAN' affect modem?
