Notepad (SAVE and cursor incompatibility)

A funny thing, whenever I press Alt+S to save the text in Notepad the cursor
disappears from where it used to be (usually the end of a text) and appears
somewhere above (from 1-2 line to about a page). I thought it might be a
virus but I cannot find anything. I cannot find how I could reinstall or fix
Notepad either. I am not sure if it is merely a bug. Besides, pressing Enter
to jump to a new line sometimes creates some lines that are not visible (they
can be discovered only by deleting them or navigating through them with the
left/right buttons).

That should be CTRL+S
