Notes are greyed out on Treo 750 sync options

UsingActiveSync 4.5

The note option on my Treo 750 is greyed out as is favorites,files and
media

However when connected to my Laptop, the note option is there(as well as the
others) to check and it works.

Any idea why the option is greyed out on the Treo 750?
